Workshops with Royland Lobato

4:00 – 5:30 Rumba: Essential movements for men and women
Learn rumba or refine your skills with this master Cuban rumbero. Royland will help us with style and technique as well as give us movements to challenge us and expand our ability. Working with Royland each time he visits Oregon will increase our ease with rumba bit by bit.
5:30 – 7:00 Rueda de Casino
Everyone who came to Royland’s Oregon workshops last July, knows how great his classes are! Have fun and learn a lot from someone who danced Rueda de Casino at the source. We will learn good techniques for rueda in general as well as great moves including some to help us use a little rumba styling in our Casino and Rueda dancing.
One workshop $20, both workshops only $30

Join us every Saturday at the Vet’s Salseros Studio & Club for a night of dancing to Cuban rhythms. Lesson at 9:00, music at 10:00, $6 cover.

Join us for our Cuban rueda de casino and social dancing on Sundays from 6-8 pm. All levels of dancers are welcome. This is an informal setting where we help each other learn new things and improve on the basics. We suggest a $3 donation to cover the costs of the space.
If you are new to Cuban Salsa there is a free introductory lesson before the Social from 5-6 pm. See our event calendar for dates. More information about our classes can be found here.
We dance at Courtsports in Springfield, 2728 Pheasant Blvd. 541-736-1167. You will have to sign in and leave ID at the desk. The dance room is upstairs.
